Langtang trek with our guide Sachit was really great. The details for the next day after dinner every night was very helpful. He made sure we were well looked after and that he had a great time. Sachit was more of a friend than a guide. Our porter was also great trying his best with his limited English to talk with us and went beyond his duty for us. Lovely time by all. I decided to do a 4 days trek & not too intense. Our guide was Pema and I say he has the face of the sun. So smiley and such a happy disposition. He was very tentative & caring, helping us over waterfalls, teaching Nepali to all of us. Serving us our teas & meals with a big smile and so much patience. He was flexible on days we needed an extra hours rest etc & always made sure we were okay. The trek route itself was great. Beautiful views & definitely a bit more challenging than I had planned for.

Thank you for the wonderful time spent in nature. With love. Namaste. (Poonhill trek- 4 days)

Dear Dal Bhat Power future trekkers,

I just wanted to let you know how fantastic Tulu Tamang was. I had left my TIMS card back at the hostel and all I had was my passport. Tulu took control of the situation like a great guide should. I had no issues at any of the National Park borders. On arrival Tulu offered to help in any way he could. He was quite & confident and sure of every step. The trek itself was more than I could have put together. I was planning in going alone. However I had the pleasure of learning from Tulu.

If I come back or when I come back I will seek at Tulu & Dal Bhat Power. With love& care and most importantly safe trekking. (Langtang- 8 days)

Many thanks to Arjun and the Dal Bhat Power team for putting together an amazing trek for me in such a short time. Arjun was a great guide-extremely knowledgeable and personable. I really enjoyed the scenery and am so happy that we were able to see the mountains. Thanks so much! (Poonhill trek- 5 days)

What a beautiful area to trek! Such a good choice to go there! 5 days of walking from Syabrubesi to Kyanjin Gumba and back…… a great trek for people with a limited amount of time. From forest to valley to snowy mountains. The variety is present! And Sachit, what an awesome guide! Doing the trek with him was a pleasure. A very positive vibe throughout the days!

Thank you. Trekking in Nepal has always been a dream of ours and the experience we had trekking to Poonhill exceeded all of our expectations! It was really amazing. The hotels on the way were always the ones with the best view and Sachit couldn’t be greater!!He respected us and was always very considerate! He is also a great guy who taught us a lot about Nepali culture and life in general! We couldn’t be happier! We will never ever forget the amazing time we had!

Thank you so much! But especially thank you Om for giving us the amazing advice of going to the Poonhill and Sachit for making our hard way so pleasant and exciting!! U guys rock big times.

Lots of love.

The highlight of our trip was our guide Sachit who was always helpful, informative, enthusiastic, optimistic, friendly and many other objectives that resulted in the BEST GUIDE. He made everything workout for us perfectly. We felt so lucky to have him and we will never forget our Himalayan experience thanks to him.

Thanks for the experience!

Just back from 3 days hike in Kathmandu valley with my guide, Nirmal. The trek offered stunning views of the valley and also the Himalayas from Everest range to Annapurna. Nirmal was informative and friendly and we got on fantastic throughout the trek, an important thing when two men are alone in the mountains for 3 days. We chatted with local people along the way and it was great to see an insight into rural Nepal. We finished up in Bhaktapur which was mind blowing. It was truly unforgettable experience.

A sudden trip to Nepal turned out to be the most beautiful we have ever had. Wouldn’t have been the same without Sachit (our guide). Langtang was spectacular rising from the woods to mountain passes and then climbed a peak. But it’s all about the company. Sachit is a dear friend now. We will be back soon and explore the west (untracked) path with him. Cheers to Alobar and Dalbhat Power team.

Thanks for everything. The trek to ABC with Nirmal was amazing. My stay in Alobar1000 hostel in general was great. Nirmal the guide and all the staffs at DBP in general were very friendly. Good luck!
